Production Operative - £10.50 PER HOUR – IMMEDIATE START – TOWER PARK

We are acting on behalf of our customer, an award-winning company recognised for producing high quality gift tins, along with providing customers world-wide with leading innovation and unique designs.

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our packing team at our warehouse situated near Tower Park in Poole, BH12.

Production Operative Duties & Responsibilities.

· Comply with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.

· Assist your Floor Leaders to set up the room for production runs.

· Follow instructions given by packing specs and your Floor Leaders

· Can keep up with a fast-paced team and production standards.

· Handle production room equipment safely

· Participate in continuous improvement activities.

· Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.

· Be proactive in ensuring the integrity of the food safety and food quality systems through reporting and prevention.

· Comply with the Company’s requirement for the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

· Maintain high levels of personal hygiene.

· Ability to work any shift if requested.

· Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by Floor Leaders

Production Operative Requirements & Skills

· You must be willing to work any shift assigned.

· Manufacturing experience desirable but not essential

· A good skill level of English is crucial for Health and Safety purposes.

· Good verbal communication

· Team player

· Self-starter

· Adaptable to change.

· Ability to prioritise needs.

HOURS OF WORK – MONDAY TO FRIDAY

PLEASE NOTE: Though you are allowed to wear your own clothes, there are strict health & safety procedures to avoid cross-contamination risks. The following will have to be removed on the production floor; jewellery, watches, rings, earrings, nail varnish or false eyelashes.
